Participants of this training will follow online curriculum from the University of Wisconsin Transition Improvement Grant (TIG). After reviewing the material, we will meet every other week to discuss the information presented and the weekly activities.
The ADOS 2 training is designed for school psychologists, social workers, speech therapists and occupational therapists who want to learn how to administer and score the test. The training focuses on the characteristics of autism and how they present in the testing situation. We will focus on behavioral observations and scoring reliability to determine a component to autism eligibility and special education instruction and/or accommodations.
For new teams please attend as a team if possible. For those who have already attended a training but would like an opportunity to “fine tune” evaluation skills this training can serve as a refresher.
Participants should bring their own ADOS Kit Click Here to Learn More
